Natrona County MRC ( 318 )

The NCMRC is a volunteer group made up of first responders to include certified nursing assistants, RN’s, EMT’s, physical therapists and BEC’s as well as non-medical personnel. We are housed in the Casper-Natrona County Health Department (CNCHD) with a mission statement of “Volunteers dedicated to keeping Natrona County safe at work and at play.” We have three teams within our MRC, each of which has a volunteer team leader. • Medical Team: This team provides first aid booths at community events to include Casper Soccer Club tournaments, the ARC summer camp, the Casper marathon and the Nicolaysen Art Festival. • Firefighter Rehabilitation Team: This team provides medical support for first responders on emergency scenes which include vital signs monitoring, hydration, calorie, as well as cooling procedures for all first responders at a fire scene 24/7. • Volunteer Reception Center Team: Through a partnership with ServeWyoming, our non-medical volunteers assist in processing volunteers and placing them in appropriate jobs during an emergency based on their skills and certifications. In order to maintain active membership in the NCMRC, the following requirements apply: • Attend two meetings • Attend two events or exercises • Complete IS 100 & IS 700 training as well as MRC orientation
