Santa Cruz County Medical Reserve Corps of Arizona ( 1874 )

Profile:
Like other counties in Arizona, we are incorporating our existing Public Health Volunteers into The Santa Cruz County Medical Reserve Corps. These volunteers come with a wide variety of skills and training including both medical and non-medical support. We have participated in trainings and exercises locally, regionally and with our tribal neighbors as well as with our neighbors to the south in Sonora, Mexico. Our volunteers come from various agencies, first responders, businesses, faith-based communities and schools, as well as from the general public throughout Santa Cruz County. We have and will continue to participate in exercises and trainings involving Pandemic Influenza, Sheltering, Continuity of Operations, NIMS, Special Needs Planning, and other public health issues.
