  AMHERST – Since its beginning two years ago, the UMass Amherst Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) has grown to include more than 300 members. Now, the unit is growing again, with the launch of an expanded Web site.

  ACUSHNET – The town is seeking volunteers to join the local chapter of the Greater New Bedford Medical Reserve Corps. A creation of the Southcoast Emergency Planning Partnership, the corps is intended to recruit, train and organize teams of volunteers to respond in an emergency.
