Profile:
Summit County Health District in conjunction with Summit Emergency Management Agency developed an MRC Unit in Summit County in 2006. We are currently networking with other counties who have a MRC unit in place. The Summit County MRC unit has utilized and trained our volunteers many times and as the Summit County MRC unit continues to grow it remains our missions to prepare our volunteers with trainings, exercises and drills that will develop disaster response skills as well as personal preparedness while supporting the bigger picture of a more prepared and more resilient America .
