| Profile: |
Our MRC unit was formed as a collaborative unit consisting of MRCs within the Potomac Highlands in West Virginia. Our key partners are the Grant County Health Department, the Local Emergency Planning Committee and the Grant Memorial Hospital. Our Unit has been working to complete the Core Competencies for Medical Reserve Corps, and are currently training in this area.

MRC volunteers participated in a Functional Exercise which exercised POD set up and dispensing medication. The volunteers participated in Just-In Time training on dispensing instructions as well as Incident Command.

Conducted a WV-REDI drill(ESAR-VHP) of Medical Volunteers to recruit volunteers to participant in an SNS drill on August 3, 2009.
