The Chillicothe/Ross Medical Reserve Corps will serve 76,000 residents of Ross County and serve as a partnering and support agency for many county agencies, including the Ross County Health District. Our goal is to bring together qualified individuals who want to lend their expertise, and be available to assist their fellow residents in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. We are currently advertising and promoting an initial meeting, scheduled for October 5, 2006.

Chillicothe/Ross MRC Coordinator had a booth at the county fair August 6th through August 10th where we educated the community on emergency prepardness. Five 2 person emergency bags where given away as a daily drawing. Homeland Security information from ready.gov was handed out and applications for MRC Volunteers where available for those interested in volunteering.
