Profile:
Our unit includes MDs, veterinarians, dentists, pharmacists, RNs, LPNs, EMTs, mental health professionals, clergy, Respiratory Therapists, Vet Techs, interpreters,funeral service personnel and administrators. We are in our second year of operation and are currently working on completing 3 FEMA courses, the TSAO course as well as Orientation, CPR and many training classes. We provide backup at the Health Department as needed, as well as being prepared for disaster assistance in the same areas and shelters, immunization and triage centers; wherever the need is greatest. We are assisting at the Free Clinics in Manassas and Woodbridge and the VA Renaissance Faire. We are excited about assisting our community!

12/16/2009
Orientated 12 eager nursing students. They will bring experience, expertise, and energy to the unit.

11/23/2009
72 volunteer shifts have been completed from October 16,2009 to November 23,2009 during H1N1 response. Over 360 volunteer hours have been accumulated thus far.

11/21/2009
6 members of Greater Prince William Medical Reserve Corps assisted the Prince William Health Department in a school based initiative.

10/14/2009
10 volunteers attended a orientation. From this orientation we have gained the experience and expertise of 2 MDs, 4 RNs, 1 EMT, 1 Phlebotomist, 1 LPN, and 1 non-medical volunteer.
