Profile:
The Kenton-Hardin Health Department established the county Medical Reserve Corps in 2006. The Medical Reserve was developed to identify and train interested volunteers in the event of a health-related emergency. While the Kenton-Hardin Health Department is actively seeking licensed medical professionals, non-medical individuals interested in becoming a volunteer should also contact the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator because in an emergency all helping hands are needed. The Hardin County Medical Reserve Corp is affiliated with the Hardin County Citizen Corps through the Hardin County Emergency Management Agency.
