The Duxbury Bay Area Regional Medical Reserve Corps consists of the neighboring towns of: Duxbury, Hanson, Marshfield, Pembroke and Whitman . A steering committee, consisting of members from each of the communities, has been organized and continues to work together to: increase volunteer recruits, set training schedules, and prepare for Emergency Dispensing Site Exercises in all of our partnering towns.
The Duxbury Bay Area Regional MRC continues to hold monthly meetings for updates and trainings on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7pm. The meeting location is rotated to include all of our participating communities. All Duxbury Bay Area Regional MRC meetings, trainings and events are posted on the Duxbury Town Calendar.
Come to a meeting. Bring a friend! ALL are welcome to attend the Duxbury Bay Area Regional Medical Reserve Corps meetings. Remember, you DO NOT have to have a medical background to be a MRC volunteer-Bring your skills, energy and enthusiasm.
