Profile:

This MRC unit serves the Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Redondo Beach communities. Volunteer medical and mental health professionals contribute their skills and expertise during times of emergency to assist first responders. Volunteers also use their specific talents to provide a variety of ongoing health education and screenings for the community. BCHD MRC also works to enhance emergency preparedness and community resiliency by providing emergency preparedness lectures, working with special populations to increase their preparedness, distributing emergency preparedness educational materials, and selling disaster supply kits.
