Profile:
February 2006, the PHD-MRC had its first orientation meeting and a Pandemic Flu presentation for local physicians with private practices. A month later, the unit offered a second orientation meeting for all health care professionals including physicians. At that meeting, a Pandemic Flu presentation was also offered. In April 2006, volunteers received training information to be able to start self study courses.

The MRC participated in an Influenza Clinic for the Portsmouth Sheriff's Department. MRC Volunteers administered Influenza vaccines over a 3 day period.
