Profile:

The McKinley County MRC was formed under the General LEPC/LEPC Medical, and Citizens Corp. Committees. The Corp's function will be to educate the local communities including the Navajo Nation and Zuni Tribe about Emergency Preparedness utilizing culturally competent materials and language. Our key partners are the LEPC/LEPC Medical and Citizens Corp members. The McKinley County MRC will be involved in participating in exercise drills and training provided by the Emergency Managers (City/County) as well other entities in the core group. The MRC will also participate with other LEPC Committees in the surrounding counties. The MRC committee members are also affilicated with the NM Emergency Managers Association and the NM Native American Emergency Managers Association.
