Profile:
Help out when your community needs it most. In a natural disaster, major disease outbreak, act of bioterrorism, or other emergency, volunteers make a crucial difference in a community's ability to help people get through difficult events. The Public Health Departments in Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, and Wahkiakum counties need medical and non-medical volunteers to work alongside public health staff during emergencies in our four counties. You will receive valuable training, participate in important exercises, and be at the heart of the response. Your expertise may also be valuable during non-emergencies or routine responses to public health concerns.
