Profile:
This MRC Unit has been in existence for approximately five years. Since January 2006 the group has met monthly (with the exception of August & Decmeber). Currently we meet on the first Tuesday of the month @ the Darke County Department of Health (Greenville, Ohio). Each meeting consists of a business portion and nearly always has a training or class offered (immediately following). Our recent past trainings/topics have been: Introduction to the Medical Reserve Corps, Psychological First Aid, Red Cross CPR & First Aid, Family "To-Go" Kits, ICS-100, & NIMS-700, AG Terrorism presented by the University of Findlay, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire Prevention Awareness, and many other topics.
