Profile:
The MRC located in West Central Ohio was started in January 2004. It involves a collaborative effort with eight counties including Preble, Darke, Champaign, Clark, Miami, Montgomery, Shelby, and Greene counties. The MRC's vision is to forge distinct teams of volunteers able to effectively and efficiently respond to incidents of public health significance. The mission is to design, organize, establish, and implement an MRC that is appropriately trained to react to the incidents of public health significance. An advertising campaign was initiated in June, and the MRC is accepting registration for orientation classes.
