| Profile: |
Our MRC is a coalition between the county EMA and the county health department and the county hospital. The MRC is not fully functional at this time. We are in the organizational stage. Great insight is being taken to assure that staffing levels will not overlap into the first response, hospital and emergency room communities. The MRC will be used for different functions, working hand-in-hand with the VRC, wide spread vaccinations, and any WMD/Biohazard incident where large scale incident response is required. Our mission is to serve the people of Fairfield County with the best medical research, readiness and response.

MRC Orientation
|
11/7/2009
22 MRC volunteers responded with the County EMA and Health Department to staff the first no-appointment public H1N1 Vaccine clinic. In four hours, more than 600 vaccines were administered. Tickets were issued in four colors, each one to begin lining up on the hour from 0900 to 1200. The clinic was held in the local mall -- law enforcement, parking, weather, bathrooms were all addressed successfully.
