Profile:
The Geauga County MRC is being developed by the Geauga County Health District in collaboration with Geauga County Citizen Corp Council to identify and train volunteers to support the public health infrastructure within Geauga County. Recruitment has reached forty-five (45) volunteer members and continues underway for both medical and non-medical volunteers to supplement and assist local medical emergency response systems. MRC volunteers may participate in public education programs for Geauga County citizens to provide information regarding preparedness, potential threats, and response and recovery capabilities. Geauga County MRC Volunteers are vital in maintaining a resilient community.
