Profile:
The Teller County Medical Reserve Corps (TC-MRC) consists of doctors, nurses, EMT's and other State licensed and certified medical personnel, and adjunct medical personnel experienced in working with patients and health care providers such as administrative personnel, medical records personnel, and public health staff willing to assist our community during a medical emergency or disaster. TC-MRC supports and works with Teller County Public Health (TCPH); Teller County Office of Emergency management (OEM); the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC); Teller County Fire, 1st Responder and EMS groups; Teller County Citizen Corp, city law enforcement agencies, and the Pikes Peak Regional Hospital, as well as shelters or other facilities that may be established in an emergency. Teller County MRC will provide educational and recruitment opportunities for volunteers and be present at appropriate public events to recruit, explain Teller County emergency/disaster planning and to present our public service mission.
