Profile:
The Frederick County Volunteer & Medical Reserve Corps in Frederick County, MD is a community-based volunteer unit composed of both medical professionals and support personnel who can assist public health and safety agencies during a health emergency or disaster. Unit members participate in a variety of preparedness, response, and health initiatives such as the Volunteer Mobilization Center initiative and assisting with Health Department flu clinics and POD exercises. The Frederick County V&MRC is integrated into the County Emergency Plan.
