Profile:
The Marion County Medical Reserve Corp has been created to assist with the recruitment of medical and non-medical volunteers throughout Marion County, to assist with a response during public health and community disasters. We plan to work with our various community and response partners to develop an efficient, effectively trained group of citizens with the desire to help during these emergencies. We will actively recruit the professional staff necessary to respond properly to each disaster. Being located in the middle of rural counties, the Marion County MRC may expand to contiguous counties to better serve each community.
