Fall 2008 MRC Deployment Training Video

The Fall 2008 Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Deployment Training, hosted by the Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps (OCVMRC), was held in Bethesda, MD, October 27–31. This first deployment training allowed approximately 20 MRC leaders and volunteers from across the country to learn and gain experience alongside fellow Federal, state, and local responders. The training included disaster preparedness and response-related lectures and hands-on activities facilitated by experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and members of the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General. The course culminated with attendees participating in a large-scale mass casualty exercise on the grounds of the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
