Zoom and Pan
Zoom in and out of the maps using the zoom tool in the upper left corner or by using the scroll button on the mouse.
Pan around the map by clicking and dragging the map in the direction you would like to see.
Searching
There are three different methods to search using the MRC mapping tool. The result of each search will be displayed on the map, identified by a blue marker symbol
and in a detailed list below the map.
Search by Region
To search by Region, select the "Region" tab and then select one of the 10 regions from the "Select a Region" drop-down menu above the map on the left side.
Search by State
To search by State, select the "State" tab and then select a State or U.S. Territory from the "Select a State" drop-down menu above the map on the left side.
Search by Zip Code
To search by a Zip code, select the "Zip Code" tab and type the Zip code in the text box to the right of "Zip Code" above the map. To edit the distance to be used in the search, click and select the desired distance from the "Distance" drop-down menu. Once a Zip code and distance is selected, click the "Search!" button.
Viewing MRC Jurisdiction Coverage
Once a search has been completed and the results are displayed on the map, click the checkbox next to “Display MRC Jurisdiction Coverage” to show the coverage area for the displayed units. Jusrisdictions have a transparent light grey fill color. The overlapping of multiple jurisdictions is shown as a darker grey color due to overlaying the transparent layers.
