Jesús Reyna

Region X MRC Regional Coordinator

Jesús Reyna serves as MRC Regional Coordinator (MRC RC) for Region X (AK, ID, OR, WA). He provides technical assistance and support to the existing MRC units in the region and helps people interested in the MRC program to start a unit when there is not currently an active MRC in their local community. Mr. Reyna works closely with individual units to advance the U.S. Surgeon General's public health priorities and coordinate with the goals of the Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps.

For more than 5 years, Mr. Reyna has been working in the public health field, managing various local, state, and national health grants. Most of his focus has been on eliminating health disparities that exist in racial and ethnic minorities.

Mr. Reyna graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Nursing and a B.A. in Sociology.
