communities interested in the MRC program to start a unit when there is not currently an active MRC in their local community. Mr. Reyna works closely with individual units to advance the U.S. Surgeon General's public health priorities and coordinate with the goals of the Office of the Civilian Volunteer MedicalReserve Corps.

Before joining the MRC program, Mr. Reyna managed various local, state, and national health grants. He coordinated the HIV/AIDS program for Federal Region X and was the Clinical Coordinator for the Washington Association of Community and Migrant Health Centers. Mr. Reyna graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s of science in nursing and a bachelor’s of arts in sociology.

Mr. Reyna has lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest all his life. He and his family enjoy the outdoor opportunities this area provides. He also is a big Seattle Seahawk football fan and never misses a game.
