She provides technical assistance and support to the existing MRC units in the region and helps people interested in the MRC program better understand the benefits of an MRC in their neighborhood. Ms. Littlefield works closely with individual units to advance the U.S. Surgeon General's public health priorities and coordinate with the goals of the Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps.

Ms. Littlefield previously worked in the State of Florida on emergency preparedness initiatives. Ms Littlefield worked on the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) planning for the southern Florida region. Prior to working on the SNS, Ms. Littlefield worked for the Florida Division of Emergency Management, served as a member of the Radiological Forward Secretary’s Emergency Response Team (SERT), and coordinated the Intergovernmental Relations Team (IRT).

Jill Littlefield holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in psychology and a specialty in neuropsychology and political science from Florida State University. Ms. Littlefield lives in San Francisco, California with her family. In her spare few minutes, she enjoys writing about the obvious in short story or prose form.
