Elizabeth H. Fitch

Region IV MRC Regional Coordinator

Elizabeth H. Fitch serves as MRC Regional Coordinator (MRC RC) for Region IV (AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN). She provides technical assistance and support to the existing MRC units in the region and helps people interested in the MRC program to start a unit when there is not currently an active MRC in their local community. Ms. Fitch works closely with individual units to advance the U.S. Surgeon General's public health priorities and coordinate with the goals of the Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps.

Ms. Fitch’s career has included work with various non-profit organizations and government agencies, primarily in the areas of program management and volunteer coordination. Prior to accepting the position of Regional Coordinator, she worked for District Four Health Services in Georgia as Risk Communicator and Volunteer Coordinator for the Medical Reserve Corps of West Georgia. She also serves as Program Co-Chair for the Council of Volunteer Administrators in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ms. Fitch holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of the South (Sewanee, TN) and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University.
