Ground Transportation to the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower

From Portland International Airport

There are several options for ground transportation from the Portland International Airport. To review all of the options, visit the Port of Portland Web site at: http://www.portofportland.com/Grnd_Trans.aspx.

Taxi

Taxi service is readily available 24 hours a day at Ground Transportation, which is adjacent to the baggage claim area. The one-way fare is approximately $35.00 from the airport to the hotel, and the trip takes about 30 minutes. Allow extra time for rush-hour traffic.

Blue Star Shuttle Information

The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower is serviced by the Blue Star Shuttle. The shuttle is located at Ground Transportation near baggage claim. Shuttles depart the airport from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the hour and half-hour (reservations can be made for shuttle service outside of these hours 24 hours in advance by calling Blue Star directly). Please note: If three or more people will be traveling together, a taxi will be faster and less expensive than traveling via the Blue Star Shuttle.

MAX Light Rail System

Board the MAX Light Rail System at Ground Transportation. Buy your ticket before boarding. The cost of your fare will be $2.05. All trains from the airport will take you to downtown Portland. Travel time is approximately 40 minutes. Exit the train at the Pioneer Square North station. When you exit the train, turn left, and walk to the corner of the street (Sixth Avenue). Turn right on Sixth Avenue, and walk 2.5 blocks. The entrance to the hotel will be on your right.

Driving Directions

From the Airport

Take I-205 South, and exit onto I-84 West. At the end of I-84 West, you will reach the junction of I-5 North and South. Continue south toward Salem (to your left). Immediately follow the City Center signs, which will take you across the Morrison Bridge. Proceed straight through the traffic light near the end of the bridge onto SW Washington Street. Take Washington Street one block, and then turn left onto 3rd Avenue. Take 3rd Avenue four blocks, and then turn right onto SW Taylor Street. Continue on SW Taylor Street for one block, and turn LEFT onto SW Broadway. Turn LEFT on Salmon Street, and then turn LEFT on SW 6th Avenue. The Main building front doors are on left side of 6th Avenue.

From the North (Seattle) Southbound on I-5

Take exit 300B off of I-5 Southbound. After exiting, follow the City Center signs, which will take you across the Morrison Bridge. Parking

Self-parking is available at the hotel for $18.00 per day (in-and-out privileges) or $25.00 per day for valet parking (in-and-out privileges).
